Overview
Residency training in Urology at the Emory University School of Medicine is a five-year program. During the first year, residents spend six months on general surgery and surgical electives, which provides them with a broad introduction to the management of the surgical patient, as well as a foundation in surgical and procedural skills.
Five residents per year are selected from a large applicant pool through the urology match performed by the American Urological Association (AUA). In order to allow sufficient time to complete a holistic review of all applications, we will accept application materials through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) through Friday, October 2, 2026. Applications received after October 2, 2026, will not be considered.
Emory Urology Interview Dates:
November 11th 2026
November 19th 2026
The interview will be held in person.
