The Biochemistry Department located in the Rollins Research Center, completed its the 4th floor in Summer 2022. The north wing renovation was completed summer 2021 with the south wing finished up in July 2022. The new floor plan accommodates more labs working in the open shared space. Labs now use common equipment resulting in more efficient use of space. The desks for students, postdocs, and lab personnel are located outside of the lab in stations instead of inside the labs as in a traditional lab configuration. Among the labs located to the 4th floor south wing are: Avci Lab, Draganova Lab, Ortlund Lab, Seyfried lab, and Sundberg Labs.
