Principal Investigator
David S. Yu, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist actively engaged in basic, translational, and clinical research. Dr. Yu is the Jerome Landry MD Chair in Cancer Research and a professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine where he also serves as director of the Division of Cancer Biology.
Research
The focus of our lab's research is to understand how cells respond to DNA replication stress, why this process is deregulated in cancer cells, and how we can translate this knowledge to improvements in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Publications
Dr. Yu has authored a number of publications in high impact journals, including Nature, Cell, Molecular Cell, Cell Reports, and PNAS. He is associate editor of International Journal of Radiation Biology.
