Radiation Oncology Physician Residency
The Emory Radiation Oncology Physician Residency Program is a four-year graduate medical education program preparing residents for certifying radiation oncology examinations given by the American Board of Radiology.
About our Program
Our residency program for physicians follows completion of a one-year internship in Internal Medicine. The program prepares residents for certifying radiation oncology examinations given by the American Board of Radiology. Residents master treatment procedures from faculty members at six clinical institutions.
The program, within Emory University School of Medicine, has access to the facilities and patient bases of Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, and Emory Healthcare, Georgia's largest health care system, including Emory Proton Therapy Center. Residents also train at two affiliated locations, Grady Memorial Hospital and Atlanta VA Medical Center.
