2025 Internal Medicine Program Match
The Department of Medicine is thrilled to introduce the incoming 2024–2025 J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency program interns! This rising class of 53 candidates, will join us to begin their residencies this July.
Match Day is an exciting day in the careers of young physicians, and it represents the culmination of their hard work over four or more years of medical school training.
Our incoming class includes:
- 44 categorical internal medicine track
- Eight primary care track
- One internal medicine/research track
This year, we received more than 4,100 applications for 470 interview spots to recruit a class of highly talented trainees. Our incoming class represents 37 medical schools from 19 states nationwide and Washington, D.C, with five international candidates and nine candidates from Emory University School of Medicine.
