EMS Resident Rotation

Teaching is an important component of the Section of Pre-hospital and Disaster Medicine's mission. Each year, approximately 120 medical students and 18 new Emergency Medicine interns are trained in the Emory Emergency Medicine residency Emergency Medical Services (EMS) rotation.

The Emory Emergency Medicine EMS Experience consists of multiple experiences over the course of a two week period.

The didactic portion of this rotation will be self-study with supplementation in the form of short structured meetings with subject matter experts. You will be expected to attend all Didactic Conferences and the EMS Journal Club if held during your rotation month.
