May 2025: Alia Bly joins the lab as a Bioinformatics Analyst. Alia was working on a multi-OMICS project on latent and clinical Leprosy during her MPH studies at Emory RSPH. Welcome Alia.
April 2025: Both undergraduate students Fiona and Lisa successfully defend their honors thesis with highest honors. Fiona will go to PBEE graduate program at Emory University while Lisa is enrolled to chemical biology graduate program at Westlake University this fall. We wish them best of luck of their graduate studies.
March 2025: Dr. Talia Fargason join the lab as postdoctoral scholar. Talia did a fantastic work on phase separation of SRSF1 during her PhD studies at UAB chemistry department. Welcome Talia.

Oct 2024: Dr. Liu was invited to give a talk at the 75th Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS): Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products in Drug Discovery Session. Dr. Liu also organizes a session Structure and Dynamics of Macromolecules.
Sept 2024: Liu Lab receives an Emory Pediatric Research Alliance Pilot Grant on developing new modulators for cardiomyopathy.
Aug 2024: Liu Lab receives an NIGMS R35 Award to work on Regulation of Mineralocorticoid Receptor Transcriptional Activities
