Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Is this only available to trainees in a Global Health track? It is open to all eligible PGY-3+ trainees. However, priority will be given to trainees with formal global health education, including those enrolled in their department’s global health track or those who obtained a degree or have existing global health experience prior to or during residency/fellowship.
  2. Do I need to have faculty mentorship? Yes. All rotations require oversight by an Emory faculty member. While the faculty member is not required to travel to the site, it is highly encouraged.
  3. Who should I contact for help? Please direct all questions to globe@emory.edu.
