Lisa Haddad, MD, MS, MPH, is Medical Director of the Center for Biomedical Research at the Population Council and Adjunct Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics, in division of family planning at Emory University School of Medicine. At Population Council, she leads the clinical development efforts to advance the Center’s sexual and reproductive health product portfolio, including novel contraceptive products. Dr. Haddad completed the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Residency Program in OB/GYN and her Complex Family Planning fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Haddad has worked for over a decade at the Emory in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Family Planning, providing comprehensive reproductive healthcare at Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University hospitals and at independent reproductive health clinics across Atlanta. She is passionate about women’s health and rights and has pursued both behavioral and biological research to better understand the health needs of women around the world. Dr. Haddad has more than 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals, several published books, and has received numerous awards for her teaching, mentorship, research, and advocacy.
