Dr. Cecile Lahiri, MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor in the Emory Department of Medicine and Division of Infectious Diseases. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and completed residency, fellowship, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Research at Emory University. Dr. Lahiri’s NIH-funded research focuses on antiretroviral therapy in the context of toxicities/side effects, HIV cure/eradication, and co-morbidities, with a specific emphasis on the impact of sex. Dr. Lahiri is the current M-PI and Director of Research Development for the Emory Specialized Center of Research Excellence in Sex Differences and a Co-Investigator for the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study. She serves as a Research Mentor for several trainees in the D43 EN-RTP program.
