Dr. Kolawole Sodeinde is currently a Lecturer at Babcock University and a consultant Public Health Physician at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilishan-Remo Ogun State. He had his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oyo State. He then proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu for his specialist training in Public Health after which he became a member of the West African College of Physician (MWACP) in the faculty of Community Health and a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in the faculty of Public Health (FMCPH). He has a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Lagos; a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Management also from the University of Lagos; a certificate in Implementation Research from WHO/TDR and a certificate in Global Health Management from the University of Washington. He is currently taking a Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree in Public Health with the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria which is meant to be completed in May 2023.
A scholar with about 30 scientific publications in several local and international journals, Dr. Sodeinde is a member of various medical and non-medical professional bodies. He is a member of the Nigerian Medical Association, a member of the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, a member of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (UK), a member of the Nigerian Institute of Strategic Management, a fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria and the General Secretary of the Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria (BUTH Chapter). He has served as a consultant to different NGOs including the UNITAID/Malaria Consortium Private Sector RDT Project in 2015 and trainer/consultant in charge of monitoring and evaluation for the Rotary Family Health Day from 2015 till date.
