Project Coordinator, Emory

Jacob earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Youngstown State University. He then held a position at the Cleveland VA Medical Center as a Biological Science Laboratory Technician in the department of research where his focus was on diabetic retinopathy. Jacob started graduate school at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH), earning his Master of Public Health (MPH) in the department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (BSHES). During his time at RSPH, Jacob held work positions as a graduate teaching assistant for research methods in health promotion and quantitative data analysis courses in the BSHES department, as well as a graduate research assistant position in the Department of Epidemiology, working on sleep health and chronic disease studies. After earning his MPH, Jacob held a position as a Research Associate at Evidera working in biopharmaceutical consulting conducting patient centered research and specifically patient preferences for treatments. Jacob started his current role as a research project coordinator in June 2023.
