Max was raised in Flemington, NJ. He attended undergraduate at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he fostered his love for neurology by majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. Following graduation, he worked at the Kavli Institute for Brain Science at Columbia University, where he developed his skills in software programming. He completed medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in NJ before matriculating to Emory for residency. He was drawn to Emory for its diverse staff and patient population, supportive and friendly environment, and incredible reputation in the field of neurocritical care. Max is interested in neurocritical care and neuroinfectious disease but is open to explore fields like neuro IR and movement. In his free time, he enjoys cooking overcomplicated dishes, writing short stories and searching out new experiences with his friends and family.
