Dr. Ogunsola Olabanjo, MD, MPH, FWACP, is the Associate Director and Head of Prevention and Community Services at APIN Public Health Initiatives, one of the leading PEPFAR implementing partners in Nigeria. He provides leadership in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, cervical cancer screening programmes among HIV-positive women, HIV case finding, key population programmes, and integration of prevention services into HIV care. Over the years, he has successfully activated and integrated HIV programs and services into public, private, and faith-based health facilities. He is a West African College of Physicians fellow. He has been training junior investigators and resident doctors involved in HIV-related research and providing an enabling environment for them within the organization. Dr. Ogunsola is actively involved in grant writing and grantsmanship training. He is currently a co-investigator (MPI) in the NIH-funded Community Home-Based Education Screening Services (CHESS) to improve access to cervical cancer screening services for women living with HIV. He is a chapter contributor to the book titled “AIDS in Nigeria: Turning the Tide” and has published in many peer-reviewed journals. He is currently an associate director for the Emory Nigerian Research Training Programme.
