Dear colleagues,

Faculty Recognitions Week is one of my favorite times of year because it centers on what makes the School of Medicine truly extraordinary: you.

Across every department, clinic, and lab, our faculty embody the SOM’s greatest strength: a shared purpose to improve lives through discovery, teaching, and compassionate care. This week is a chance to pause and celebrate the ways you make that purpose real every day.

We begin by recognizing faculty who achieved senior promotions and clinical distinctions this year. Each milestone represents years of dedication, and the impact that comes when we grow together as a community of scholars, educators, and healers.

Congratulations to all our honorees. And thank you to every faculty member who inspires, mentors, and serves. You make Emory a place where excellence and humanity thrive side by side. We look forward to honoring you at the Celebration of Faculty Eminence Ceremony tomorrow, Oct. 28.

Lastly, I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Faculty Recognitions Committee for their thoughtful leadership in guiding this process and ensuring that excellence across the School of Medicine is seen and celebrated.
